Rajat’s heart raced as he processed the shocking revelation. The air in the living room grew heavy with tension. Savi stood trembling, her leg throbbing from the injury, her eyes pleading for understanding.
“Jigar, what evidence do you have?” Rajat demanded, stepping between Savi and Jigar, his voice low but firm.
Jigar smirked, scrolling through his phone. “Just a little video that proves Savi’s true nature. I can’t believe you’re siding with her after all the trouble she’s caused.”
Tara, her eyes wide with disbelief, turned to Jigar. “What kind of video?”
“Nothing that matters,” Jigar said, feigning innocence. “Just a reminder of what she did.”
“Enough!” Rajat barked, his frustration boiling over. “You think threatening a woman is the right way to handle this? You’re the one who should be in that lockup!”
